What
is my Credit?
If you aren't
sure what your credit looks like, or are new to the whole "credit"
concept, they you may do well to take a look at your credit reports. There
are 3 Major Credit Bureaus: Experience, Transunion, and Equifax. They
are the ones that the creditors report to when you do anything regarding
credit. They report balances, time frame you've owned cards, late payments,
and many other things for 7 to 10 years from the date of last activity.
To most easily
check your credit you can simply order your credit reports. There are
many online credit reporting agencies whom you can buy your credit reports
from. Some range from $8 per report to $12. Some sell a combined report
for roughly $30, some give the credit reports away for free (with strings
attached, of course). If you are interested in getting your credit report,
